The VVMC - SA Chapter are having an "unplugged" acoustic type music night this friday 25th July 08. In other words, nothing too loud for us old farts... Entrance is free, BBQ begins at around 7:00 pm for around $3.00 a head, with music kickin' off around 8:00 pm. So if you got any skills with anything from guitar to harmonica, didgeridoo etc., or just wanna come and chill with the Vets for a few hours then get yaself along... A pretty good turnout on the night considering not too many brass monkeys even bothered to venture out and a good night was had by all, with the possible exception of Curly (hope you are feeling better mate). Thanks must go to Stumpy (Pres) and the rest of the VVMC fellas, for their hospitality. Am posting a coupla pics that sorta turned out, but they certainly aint the best (bloody modern technology cameras) Thanks also too the musos on the night who churned out quite a few good tunes.
