I've been surprised why they haven't put the twincamB motor in the whole bike range, dropping the straight twincam. All it needs is a frame change, surely.

I'm with alby on the price!!

Looks like the only change to the Rockers is that Pacific Blue Pearl has changed to Flame Blue Pearl. Suits me.... my 08 bike just got rarity value!! Must be under 10 in WA, probably under 7 even. :)

You're dead right there! A mate of mine just sold his 10 year old Fatboy for only $700 less than he paid for it 5 years ago with very little spent in between.

I compared my 07 bike to the 09 Road King Classic. The new one's nearly 7% heavier with only about 4% more torque. How do you justify doing a complete re-design of the frame and ending up with a heavier bike? Maybe the LED lamps are heavy. Maybe they needed more pipe for the new exhaust. Maybe no-one cares.

gotta be honest , if I had a stock bike then perhaps I would have some interest in what changes have been made ...... but after spending a small fortune over time on mine , I couldn;t be happier with what I got. AND if they move to air cooled in the next few years then I reckon they will be even less desirable ..... i couldn;t imagine wanting a softy with a large radiator and fan mounted in front.

Street Bob takes Dyna platform back to school in 2009

MILWAUKEE (July 22, 2008) - The restyled Street Bob leads a 2009 Harley-Davidson Dyna line that blends bold, custom styling with exhilarating, raw-boned street performance. A chopped rear fender and a retro tail light give the Street Bob a new look representing the best in old school “garage engineering.”

    what a lot of garbage

about all I like is the reduced rear fender

Seen a picture of the 2009 Harley Trike.......NICE!

If I ever have to give up two wheels...then I could easily go for one of them!

So I have a 2009 Night Train on order to join my MV Agusta Brutale 910R, has the price increased, does anyone know??

    I paid $11,495 + ORC ($13,300) for my 2002 XLH Sportster, AU$1.00 = US$0.57
    My 2004 Nighttrain was $29,995 on road, AU$1.00 = US$0.70

I did ask the dealer why the price dont change when the dollar goes up, His explanation was "the prices are stagnant so there is no huge fluctuations in prices, HD has a win when the dollar is good, but takes the hit when it aint."

almost seems fair, but I would rather pay the US price

PS in Melbourne tell me they're not bringing in the CVO's anymore. Don't know if there blowing bullshit or not however, when i enquired about an '07 springer softie the main man said, why not get the 08, i'll do it for the same $ plus a grand. Still puts it at about $45K... Faaaark that. He also reckons the import arm for hD put about $5K over and above on there imported bikes, then the dealers put there whack on, govt charges et fucken cetera..... The pineapples getting bigger.

I would think a CVO under $55K is a bit of a bargain!
