I have bought a 1996 Electra glide ultra classic and when the ignition switch is in the accessory position the headlight and tail light is on, is this normal or has someone fiddeled with the wiring.

normally its the front park light and tail light on.

are you sure its the headlight.

Yes it is  the headlight i have had the fairing off and it looks like a few people have fiddled with the wiring i am going to tidey it up as I go.Thanks for the feed back

I have the same on my glide ... It's like a parking light that comes on as well as the tail light. I wouldn't mind isolating these lights with the ignition in the accessory position as well so the drawdown on the battery while playing cd's or radio isn't too big.

I'm going to look into it soon but post again if you beat me to it!
