The bike is nearly finished...
Just walked through the door from Rough Crafts in Taipei, Taiwan
http://roughcrafts.com/
Its beautifully made, carefully polished stainless brackets, stitching is perfect, seat pan is solid.. Only thing concerning me is two rivets holding the rear bracket, hoping they wont contact the rear guard
The bloody front bracket has been installed crooked and off centre.. it should fit as its a bit bendable but will sit off centre.
I'm hoping I can get an undrilled bracket from him and drill it off centre to make it sit straight.
Bugger it.. this is waaaaaay off..
New seat looks Sweet.
There are some nice bikes on the Roughcrafts website, great to see guys out there willing to take on the challenge and design some nice Bling bits
Sorry man, over the weekend!
Here we go.. pic of seat on bike..
As for how it rides.. its hard, its very firm.. but its good, feels supportive, plants your butt a few inches back from the original, not sure I'd like to try it with forward controls, would be a bit of a stretch.
MrMow, seat looks great. I'm thinking of ordering a bobber from the US today.
I got onto Rough Crafts from Bike Exif (great blog buy the way). I have put a comment on Winston's blog but no response. How do you get in contact with him?
I'm thinking of getting the black air cleaner and headlight grill.
Yeah I was guessing that. I have a friend in Taiwan who might be able to pick it up..
Whats his email address????
roughcrafts@gmail.com
I've found he can be a little slow being a one man show, but he's always got back to me within 2-3 days, forget his blog.. His Facebook is pretty decent though.
Yes it fits the 48 here is pPicasso I found the seat sat high so I flipped the front bracket upside down
much better ! Also bent rear bracket to make sit more flush
Do it ! I love my aircleaner and headlight grill
here is pic
