Hi fellas,im having some troubles with my indicators on my 94 sportster.

they work fine when the bike is not running,when the bike is at idle the right flashes as normal and the left comes on but stays solid (doesnt blink)

as soon as the bike is off idle niether side blink the side chazen will come on but stay solid(wont blink)

Any idea how im gonna fix it?

Great answer Walka, im sure a few others will have the right answers, but coming from an automotive background (i know fuck all about bikes) the first things i would check are the globes, are they ok? right wattage? blown? check the flasher can (this is what makes the indicators flash), check battery termainals (remove and clean them) check earthing points (remove and clean) even check charge rate. Do these while you wait for more experienced people to reply.

These things that i have told you are the basic things to start with, usually anybody can check/fix these problems (try a known good working flasher can/or new), also check all the plug/connections for corrosion, if this dosnt fix it and you don't get a relpy, take it to an auto-elec.

They do have a problem with Corosion on the Fuses,,,

you have a bad earth problem start at the earth lead at the battery clean the connection to the frame then check connections at the lights good luck

Fixed it! turned out the cheap plastic chinese shit indicators on the front
