hi, after talking to a bike shop they sad that i had to change my speedo on my 1985 fxef becouse its in miles and now has to be km .they sad that all bikes have to be in km now as before you could have mph speedo if bike is 1988 or older .he sad that i can put a sticker on the face off speedo or buy a new speedo but make sure to get the right one , 1-1 or 2-1 ratio ? so can anyone tell me whats going on.thanks mill

Not sure if he is right or not but it is an easy fix. Drop it off at Ottos Instruments at Moorooka and they will put a new face on it. They have rebuilt my speedo the last couple of times and they are good to deal with.
