Well had my FXDF retuned today after fitting the V&H Big Shots and SE Heavy Breather. I'm impressed with the results as I thought I would have lost some power since removing the S&S pipes.
Previously the bike dynoed at 100hp 100ft-lbs with the head work, cams and S&S pipes. Since putting the V&H pipes on it has not felt very happy and you could tell the tune was out. First run on the dyno with the new setup confirmed this at 96hp and 95ft-lbs but after some love from Don at Harbour City Motorcycles the final results were 103hp and 103ft-lbs making it one of the Healthiest 96's around.
After the 120km ride home the bike feels awesome and never has run so sweet. You cant wipe the smile from my face now!
Xcited do you know if habour city tunes TTS and if so how much do they charge for a dyno,,,,,, the big shot staggers do have a cross over tube if you put your hand at the back of the exhaust - a bit over half way back you'll feel it
ride safe glen
I dunno about stock Filthy Phil, but my 2010 FXDF with Rush Slipons and nothing else, on the Dyno ran a 67hp.
After a Wimmer "The Better Sucker" filter was installed, Dyno tune gave it 75hp and a lot smoother acceleration.
TTS MasterTune. I had a cruise coming up after I got the filter fitted and decided to get the thing dyno'ed by a pro. I didn't have the time to fildle-fart around with the VTune process so figured I would get it done right the first time
Have a bit of a traction problem myself sometimes, xcited!
