Sissy Bar Height.

Before I go to My local dealer tomorrow I thought I would ask the question on here.

When I bought my 2010 Super Glide it came with a Medium Low Sissy Bar Part No. 52754-04

After a ride yesterday, her who must be obeyed said she wants a taller Sissy Bar.

I looked in the Harley catalogue and found a Low Sissy Bar Part No. 52735-85 which is supposed to be taller than the Medium low one.

Does anybody know how much taller?

Or if they have the Low one, how tall is it overall.  Then I can compare it to the height to mine.

Hi Steamer,  With the touring seat there is a gap of about 3 inches with the Medium Low rest.

My wife wants a taller one so that the pad is higher up her back instead of pressing into her pelvis.

That's why I was looking at the Low one.

I looked in the catalogue and the Tall one looks too tall.

The Short one sits very low.

It's a bit confusing when they describe them as Short, Medium Low, Low & Tall, then don't tell you the difference in height.

I am going to the dealer today to see if they know.

I will let you know what answer I get.

    No problem Stephen.

Going to take the Medium Low (I think it is anyway) to my dealer later today. So we can compare.

I will let you know what we decide on.

Send me your email to frankandjoanna@hotmail.com and I will send you the pic of mine as it is now.

Gidday i had the same problem. I changed suspension to ohlins front and rear and now smooth as. Get the occasional jolt when hit a bridge or bump over 120klm. But smoothed it out. Missus so happy even changed med low to low gave bike better looking lines.

To anybody thinking about the sissy bar heights.

The LOW is 70mm higher than the MEDIUM LOW.
