Just waiting for them to get shipped from the usa then get them fitted and im on my way. If any1 has had experiance with these products good ro bad pls feel free to leave ur comments.

Will be interesting to see how you go with these.. I've just ordered the Progressive 970's and will look into doing the forks a little down the track..

Hi fellas I have been running progressive fork springs for a couple of years now and have tried all different grades of oil - I dont like them much they dont seem to support the front end they are better than standard

But I found them very harse on the western Qld roads I took them out and put in the Ikon springs these are in my opinion 110% better

if you use them I found a light oil 15 weight with 10 ml more in each side worked the best - if you live where there are pretty good roads you probably wont find them that bad

I have a set of progressive springs out of my fatbob that I'm going to put up for sale if you guys are interested in them

    ride safe Glen

hey mate had a 1990 fxrs that i fitted ikon rear shocks to and race tech .9kg constant rate springs and race tech gold valve emulators to the fornt forks--Improved the ride by 100%--good choice that race tech gear. Shock treatment in oz handle all of race techs gear over here--really great to deal with--cheers Grim

I think I would be paying a lot more... if I was to go for what you suggest .. after checking out these rather supreme looking units... My budget would not stretch that far. So, while I may not be getting the very very best.. I feel secure, they will be better then the OEM ???? I certainly hope so... What it has to do with the Government, I don't know what you speak of ???? While the Progressive 970 has not been around for long.. maybe 6 months.. there isn't much information from individual riders to ascertain if I have made right decision or not.. ??? Lol, I guess I could have had the Ã–hlins repainted too, yellow was really not my personal choice to add to my machine.. I really don't want to 'highlight' them, or glorify the fact that I have new 'shocks' as the case would be, if I went for nitrogen filled piggy back style rear suspension, that is after seeing them on a ride.. so yes, athstetics was part of my choice in making the selection that I have..

Which HDF discount.. ??? certainly would like to know more about that ??? Anyway, I feel I have had some 'bang' for my buck.. and that's important too... but as I've said, on these .. I'll be the 'mug' and take the risk ... and yes, wish you had chimed in earlier, if you'd seen the thread, and given us more information on your products....

    Cheers Noodle

    ...arrived last Thursday.

I am still setting them up.. even though I've been for a 200 klm run...

The bike is as stable as a train on a track..

... further testing in weeks to come.. however, I did get 'off road' well, on some backroads 'corragated' and was surprised that none of the expected vibration ran through my back..

.. it did however highlight, the front forks and as many say... ''if you do the shockies .. you gotta do the forks'' while this might be true.. it certainly is a vast improvement.. I feel I've made a good purchase.. but, can't compare to anything else.. ???

Fitting time: 6 pack (two half spilt) I stayed with stock length. So, for my application, no issues at this stage.. I'm happy enough

Got my wheels and rear shocks fitted on sat. The wheels look great especially the rear. It is as wide as i could get it with the stock fender which is 180. Makes it look so much better. Even got my belt pulley matching my rims and the front and rear brake discs. Just ordered my new vance and hines big radius exhaust and my kuryaykn pro r hyper charger from the states. Got an excellent deal. saved bout $300. really lookin forward to get them installed once they arrive. And now im in the hunt from a dual brake upgrade. Gonna go ith performance machine as i already have the disc rotors. Gonna get a dual disc setup at the front with PM calipers. And a PM caliper on the rear. Happy days!

Oooooh!!! New Wheels.. Bloody Harley riders got more money then sence (cents too) what sor of wheels ? Yeah.. as the guys are saying.. getting handaling and brakeing 'fixed' first before making other mods, is smart.... I also have the Vance & Hindes as well 2:1 Big Radious.. they sound awesome on decel .... and can crank out a reasonable note on accel.... but at idle are restrained... which is good, controlling the output of 'sound' is a good thing... especiall when a blue boy steps out in front... wtf is a hyper charger .. Your beginning to sound like Batman .. lol. will check that out ... from Kuryayan ..

.. at least our interest in bikes.. keeps us of the street .. ahhhh I think ?

Looking forward to seeing your 'beasty' on the 'Show Us Your bike' section... helps keep us focused,

I'm still checking out my options, on front fork suspension... reading all I can. still happy with the Progressive 970's and the price is still coming down.... fancy, saving close to 400 bucks on one item.. geeez, how are Australian companies supposed to exist now.. must be tough... I'd hate to be a small distributor in Aus... I know they need to cover overheads... but I don't want to buy overheads... (electricity, rates, staff, insurance etc) I feel for them.....

Cheers bro. I'm thrilled your enjoying .. and it is a buzz, getting that parcel in the mail.. after waiting weeks.. I'm thinking of putting my old thongs in a parcel.. and sending them to myself.. because I know how much I'd miss them....
