me and the old man did the coil relocation and tank lift today (didn't end up using the lift) heres some pics. If he wasn't deaf already he is now from trying to remove the battery, fuck me its loud.

So we did it without d/c any cables and didn't end up needing to use the lift kit.

Note: 30 minutes my fucking ass (4 hours)

looks good, well done. any reason why you ran the wires over the top rather than below the frame? wont rub will it?

most of the wires went to the side and below, only the Ign and Coil went over the top, there is actully a fair bit of room up there. It would have looked cleaner if i d/c and ran them all on the top but not sure if you could do that without a lift. They are all taped up so they dont get wet.

I just feel sorry for the poor bloke who has to troubleshoot that crap one day =P

Does look better on your bike without the tank lift (having tall bars).

It is a lot of tucking room to miss out on though... and a clean untaped frame.

How come you left that last piece of plastic on though (near the seat)? for looks? - wiring loom underneath should be already insulated.

yeah I pulled it off at first but it actually looks better with that plastic part on instead of the cable showing with a little bit of tape
