no doubt they're Chinese-made but I still wonder how they can offer them this cheaply being US-based...? Their 'review' looks dubious but PayPal offers some security if all else fails...

Just received my Vest today, Very Very Happy :-)
Got mine from DHgate & the seller was "sell_online", it was easy as to buy. Again the Leather is top quality, the stitching is good quality & yes it has a L/H zip, but I don't mind. I have a lot of gear from the US.
I was going to buy a few months ago, but decided to do it last week & have noticed the number of sellers has decreased.
If you want something give it a go.

armo. the seller I used sell_online does have a sizing chart.
I went into my Harley store initially just to look and try some on so thru that exercise I was pretty sure that I was an XL and the sellers sizing chart confirmed that.
As I said, I reckon the jacket is slightly larger than the XL's I tried on in the shop but nowhere near the XXL's I tried on in the shop, and that suits me as it will allow me some layers underneath during winter eg, a thicker hoodie.

Just spotted this thread and others like it with people wondering about how the Chinesen "copies" are so close to the "original" HD jackets. The answer is that they're NOT copies - they're excess capacity from the same factories in Guangzhou that make the original stuff. I spend a lot of time in China and that's how it works. The factories that produce the HD gear operate doing exactly that - for about 90% of the time. The remaining 10% capacity isn't shipped to the HD supply chain but sold directly to the consumer via local middlemen. In other words - it's exactly the same product as the "genuine" article. They also do this for every other name brand under the sun. It also makes you realise how much mark up there is on an HD product if the Chinese manufacturer can make more money selling a jacket themselves for $200 than they would get selling it to HD who, ultimately, put an $800 price tag on it.
