is there anyone out there (sounds like twilight zone), who can give me any clues as to which heads to put on my 05 dyna ,I have a 95cu kit including 211cams 10.25 to 1 hi comp pistons, i was going S-E MCR heads but have been told they won,t work ,i,m thinking CNC S-E heads or S&S heads.I,m also looking at getting local work done someone sugested hallam bros in Geelong but they take a while and i don,t want the bike off the road for weeks and weeks .I have also looked into buying a set of ported heads from the states but theres no come back if theyre not what the seller says any ideas greatly appreciated
I have a pair of Hallam ported '09 heads with Compression release's that I'm thinking of changing out for a different Combo'. They're Black, and have done around 3000kms. 86cc chamber which would work with your SE-211/10.25 setup .
got hold of paul hallam, he,s switched on big time .I,m going to send my heads to him, works out slightly cheaper than buy a set of S-E heads and i,ll get more horse power ,in saying that i,m interested in the headss you have for sale send me a phone number and i,ll call you and see what you want for them
give me a ring tomorrow and let me no how much you want for the heads Cheers kiwi 0421833911

Hi Speed,
You can spend your money on harley performance heads but you will get a better bang for your buck if you have your heads done. Most of the SE heads are not much better than stock (my opinion). A good porter will take his time and look and work over the entire port and make the optimim adjustment for your riding style and cam combination. The MCR heads are pretty good out of the box but with a little work they are awesome heads, but still cost more that having your stock heads reworked. I also think/know you will get better results if you bore your cylinders out to the 95" or the 98" kits. Your present cylinders have been heat cycled many times and they will accept a bore job better and keep the cylinder much truer than the new "green" cylinders form HD. Take a look at my web site for more info about making your bike faster, smoother with better gas mileage. There is also a new post of a bike i did this past winter. It is a 98" 2006 roadglide. it has my heads, 98" big bore kit, a set of woods #8 camshafts and a V/Hines pro pipe. It runs on regular pump gas (93 octane) and is a daily rider. the dyno sheet shows it makes 113 torque and 115 hp and get 45 mpg. thanks for looking dsv danvanceracing.com
