I was hoping some one might be able to tell is changing the swing arm classed as a frame modification in qld? (say changing up to a 250 or 280 swing arm)

Also if i start chopping up a frame to accomodate a larger tyre what is the process of getting this approved?

would any one be able able to point me in the right direction of who i can speak to about this in bris or gold coast? ..... main roads are very vague in this.

in your opinion and experience if i was to modify the swing arm or fit an aftermarket one would it affect the payout of my insurance in the event i was involved in an accident?

if i do go ahead and alter the frame ... say convert it into a rigid or rack the neck.. who in qld can certify it?

so where might i find a list of people who could certify these modifcations as i haven't really found any one in brisbane? are you aware of any one i can talk to?

i reckon do the job by the book , you can then, at least, ride with peace .a pain in the neck for sure !!! but murfys law is hiding somewhere.
