Could anybody point me in the right direction to get some parts powercoated in a matching Harley wrinkle black in Brisbane? (or Queensland for that matter)
Mate; you're spot on. They are the go and I would have sent the stuff there. However last time I talked to them they were doing renovations to the shop and wouldn't be doing any of this special stuff until September. I sent the stuff off to another mob in Brendale and the result justifies violence.
Unfortunately I'm in CQ for an unknown length of time at the moment.
Thanks Issues. I'm actually out at Barcaldine, which is not far from where you are now I'm guessing, and there's no powder coaters near here. There's none in Emerald anymore either. The closest are in Rockhampton, but it's the wriinkle finish that's the problem. Not many people have it or even understand what it is.
Chrome is a problem as well; some powder coaters won't touch chrome. I have had these parts deplated though, which makes it easier.
Apparently there's a mob in Beenleigh that does it but I'm not exactly sure who yet.
