    G'Day Sprocket,

Mate - keep a few days up ya sleeve for the Coota Run (NSW Thread - 3rd & 4th September).

Pigster is checkin out accomodation over the next few weeks.

However, I do know after speaking with a few on da al capone that people like Mountainman Dave, Piglet, Gnoo and a few want to swag it near whatever accomodation is found.  So mate - keepo an eye on the thread.

Hope ya missus & tin lids are all well and healthy.  Every thing else is a bonus, aye.

I love the hight country, so barrington tops is good, so is the snowy mountains hwy from the hume to cooma, great alpine rd in victoria is a must,.

I do alot of camping around oberon, dirt bike weekends, etc.......

if you want to go flat out try the barrier hwy, from cobar to broken hill,  its 260km just to willcania, with about three bends in the road......

after driving 25,000km in tassie for work, I can highly recomend it for a ride, its all good..........

    Hi guys,

Thanks heaps for the pointers. I'll have to get the map out and look for Bethungra dam  and  the other places.
I'll have a look at the runs too. It will be good to catch up with you all again.

    Cheers

Nice 1. Congo looks good. PIGLET -- that dam is where? I can find the town and the lake but did'nt see a dam or river nearby??

For me I like Braidwood for easy stuff. And also go camping a bit near Sunny Corner - Lithgow, but thats mainly for the dirt bikes.

Go coupla' times a year to Shallow Crossing - Batemans Bay, but that is 16klm of dirt.
