Hey guys, is there an easy way to remove glued on grips from bars? put new bars on my bike but wanting to use my old grips, only need to get the left hand one off, any suggestions would be great, cheers Mick

You can slide a long thing screw driver down between the bar and the grip to break the glue, after doing that you should be able to rotate the grip back and forth,

Also if you have an air compressor and a air duster tool just slide the point of the airduster between the bar and the grip which should make it easy to remove the grip. I have done this on the last 2 Harley's I have owned and it worked a treat.

If youv'e got a compressor at home , try shooting some air between the bar and grip, twist as you do.

    Normally will come loose.

We just had to replace the grips on my sons CBR which they were glued on, we just rolled it back on it self & they come off, took a bit of hard work.

when you re-fit them don't use glue,
    use hair spray.
they slide on easy and it sets hard

or rubbing alcohol which will let you slide the grips on,and will eventually evaporate ......
