Hi,
Just wondering, has there been a thread on adjusting the rear shockies on a Fatboy?
I have a 2010 FLSTF and and want to know how I adjust the rear shocks?
It is OK while solo, but does bounce a little while 2 up only on the rougher roads. They are not too bad, but maybe I could improve them a bit. Maybe if I can set them a little firmer that would help.
Does anyone know, what the factory sets the spring rate at from new?
MY Fatboy is only new, so they are not due for replacement yet
Cheers
Cheers mate,
I was having a look at the manual as suggested by robo61. The manual is a bit vague, but I appreciate your advice especially about marking it with white paint.
I have bought the spanner last time I was at the Harley shop, so I will give it a go next chance I get.
Thanks again
LOL, .............I think he is a funny bugger, Now why would I go from a Fatboy to a Dyna. My idea is to buy better. Getting a Dyna would be going backwards wouldn't it?
Just stirring actually a dyna was one of my choices when I went shopping, but after looking, thinking, dreaming the Fatboy won the choice. I thought of buying one of each, but the missus put her foot down and said only one and I gotta do what she says.
When I win the lotto, I'll have my way.....................................
Get a Legend Air Suspension. They last a lifetime and adjust with a handlebar control for riding 1 up or 2 up, rough roads.... whatever. I love mine. They have reviews and videos on their website.
