Here is the comparison video of my sport with the Screamin Eagle Street Performance mufflers:
Taffy,
The older SE slip-ons were louder but you can't get them any more, I believe the SESP are the only ones you can buy now.
I only had the slash out and have never heard the slash down so not sure about that. I'd say there wouldn't be a lot of difference.
If you fit pipes only you don't need any tuning mods, but if you fit both pipes and high-flow air filter then you need to do stage one mod to your tuning.
I do recall a decent difference when I fitted just the slip-ons and then it was better again after adding a high flow air cleaner and stage 1 tuning.
Thanks Kingchops. Gil
Kingchops, thanks for all your advice, which I followed. Instal finished a week ago (details on signature) and I can't believe the difference. Spins out like crazy and the sound is perfect! What a machine this is now. Thanks again.
I have SE street Performance muflers on my 2011 Sport Custom
Thanks KC, I've been thinking that way myself especially with the bulk of the warranty still to go, will keep HD happy. Haven't seen too many reviews of the SESPT yet, it being so new, but I'm assuming they would have a reasonable map for my SESP slipons + SE A/C stage 1 combo.
Anyone else care to comment here???
