     Hi there

    My experience with these models is limited having always had a Softail and my current ride is an 03 Anniversary Fatboy.

    I'm looking at an 09 FLHTCU Electra Glide Ultra Classic with low k's/miles and would like to know  from owners of the same model what the standard inventory is.

    I realise it would have to come with an owners manual but it's more along the number of keys (ignition, panniers), security fobs, headset/s (1 or 2), removeable saddlebag and tour pak liners and the like, in other words what is exactly supplied with the bike from brand spanking new. This information will be a big help to me.

    Cheers

    Hi Phantom

    Thanks for the reply mate. Yes, it's an Australian complied bike from a dealer in WA. Bike has done lw k's but not having much experience withthis model I needed to make sure about what's supplied new. Noy fussed about liners because they are readily available if needed. It was more the keys, fobs, owners manual, how many headset/s and toolkit.

    Cheers

    yeah i guess it depends where you get it from ours came with zipper typebag liners and topbox liner a leather owners manual "very swiesh "lol two head sets , no leather lube cos the standard seat is vinyl ??? but things to look out for are .. and yes they will be or will soon break ! the fairing mount brackets , both upper and lower brackets , you have to replace them with the 2010 upgraded ones ! also rear brake light switches have a bad habit of droppin there guts which also means the cruise control wont work because the rear brake light will stay on usually , or not work at all either one !and just for kicks get the front wheel bearings checked out just as a precaution,trying to rack wots left of my memory but i think thats it for now bud , other than that you will have a ball on it and it isnt too big to putt around town mate i ride to work eveyday when i can which is regular and dont find it a problem at all :) happy days bud :)

     Hi there

    Thanks for all the replies. I'll be happy if I get the keys, fobs, owners manual and toolkit and I reckon that should be a given anyway. If there's anything else like the headset/s and liners well that'll be a bonus but I'm not real fussed about the rest of it for now.

    @beagle.. yes it's under $30K.

    BUT... I do have one more question. Has anyone had any direct experience with motorcycle transport? Someone that you would highly recommend for care and attention.. I'm talking WA to VIC..

    Cheers :)

    Sorry to drag up an old thread but did you buy it?
    What if any things did you have to repair/replace.

    I've just signed for a 2009 FLHTCU with 15ks so it is of great interest.

     Try Allwest Transport they are listed. I have used them numerous times with old collectible bikes and have found them to be good.
