Are they used for people in padded cells.
thanks for the tip muffin definitely try a pair out
I was lucky enough to get some of these off GUMTREE here in Perth, a couple of weeks ago,
Bought 5 pairs in there plastic bags for 40 bucks, the lot ... i thought it was a bargain....seems it was..sold the other pairs to my mates
( for cost) who also ride and they love em.
Agree with your points on them slipping forwards, but i seem to be able to position them just right in my helmet so they dont slip.
cheers TB1
Hey muffin, yeah it sure was a bargain, find them great for daytime, but got myself some Wiley X , SG-1 with the interchangable lens etc
( Clears and Dark) , retail here for $179 ,give or take.
Bought mine online from the good ole US of A for $USD 44. all up about $AUS 65 incl postage, insurance etc
They are really cool , Mil Spec Ballistic lens .
The troops used them in Afganistan, etc
very nice product,
Cheers TB1
Ive been using these for a while now ........i also have a pair of clears for night ridin.
They work well .....no more 120kmh tears streamin out the side of my sunnies ......lol
Hey FTBOB , sure no problems, i got them from " fnmotorsports" they had them on ebay , and if my memory serves me right the shipping was a little on the bigger than Texas side of things so i emailed them and requested a "realistic" shipping cost which they did, and sent me an invoice via paypal, and just over 3 weeks voila , they arrived.
let me know if you cant find them on ebay, and i will pm you the direct email address. Hope this helps
I have had no problems with these guy's at all, supplied tracking number etc,
a good thing
I've got Uglyfish sunnies and have just about wore out my "Rider" model. I'm not 100% happy with these, but the yellow lense is excellent at night, it turns the oncoming headlights of traffic into round yellow lights. My other different types are all a bright glare, coz their not a yellow lens. Wileys & Bolle sound good but I'm suss on them fitting a buckled snot box,and would they come with Yellow lenses?
You fella's might want to check out a brand called 'ESS'
They manufacture standard issue ballistic sunglasses and goggles to the military, and you can change through three lense colours in a few seconds each, clear, amber, dark tint.
Im not too sure if they are available on the open market, but it wouldn't hurt to look.
I have a pair of Wileys but the lenses are pretty dark. I must have a weird face shape (shut you, you and you...you know who you are!) because I can't get them to seal. Very well built though.
