can anyone recommend a good bike mechanic in townsville
bruce watson and his crew at rhd cycles on rendle st aitkenvale . they are honest and a good shop, i've had servicing through to accident repairs . and custom work done here . i believe there is not a better shop in nth qld . give them a go !
Keep away from Townsville Custom Cycles, - the only thing that keeps him afloat is the "AJ's", I've never met anyone who could afford to have anything fixed there - Oh plus the tow truck to take it a bit down the road to get it fixed
Ten years or so ago I was using Custom Cycles and back then they were good. Had a parts guy called Peter, and he knew his shit.
Now the place resembles a hang out for the Saturday morning doctors and lawyers sipping their Latte's and talking about which next piece of bolt on chrome their going to buy.
RHD are great guys and girls (workshop manager is a sheila). Bruce the owner has been around for a long time and knows the ins and outs of a ducks arse when it comes to harleys, british and Euro bikes.
Honest, friendly and very very knowledgable bike enthusiasts.
Cheers
Robbo
Baz Bluecher - or Snells (for genuine parts - or Mild to Wild, Never seen a serious screw up from Slade at Mild to Wild or Baz, seen some horror stories come outa the other shops, that required repairs at the above places
