Hi, does or have any1 ran the 440 proressive series suspension? If so can you tell me ur experiances as im considering them for my street bob.

Have a look at ricor shocks. I used there intiminators and was impressed.

Some of the yank tester have given them a good rap.... for what that is worth ?

 

I have 440's 1.5 inch lower than stock. Plenty of adjustment in them (And easy to adjust), the ride is much better especially 2 up. Got them for a gret price through M&M. thought I would try them out considering I saved about $180 from what I could get here and very happy with them.

Hey mate - I now run the 412s on my Street Bob after the Harley stock shocks bent out and the bolt snapped clean in half (post here).

I've only just got the 13s, and find them a bit stiff; but I haven't tried to wind them out yet.

There is much less bottoming out in the bends, which my bob used to do constantly; and I get more ground clearance; which is especially great as I cracked open my primary drive on a tight left least year (post here)

If I had the money though, I'd be chatting to Howard at Motorcycle Metal; a few blokes here have had him build their shocks, and I'm yet to here a bad report. This post here is a worth a read too.
