That wasn't my first. I got hit by a truck in 2000 on my old Triumph. Almost lost a leg on that one. I'm hard to kill! I already got a Mert Lawwill riding prosthetic that quick disconnects to my arm & I'll need to put the clutch on the right when I get my new ride, but I WILL ride again! I did get a couple rides on the back since the wreck but it's not the same.

I saw a guy a few weeks ago at a stoplight. He was holding his Harley up with his right leg. The other leg had been cut off at the hip & he wasn't wearing a prosthetic leg! I would love to talk to that guy!

I have heard about a rider in Darwin with a Harley trike that has one leg and one arm amputated (Wombat I think his nickname was). Much respect that he is still out with his face in the wind. All the very best Gypsie.

Of all the people on the road you had to be hit by FUCKING Deputy. What an arsehole - he/she should be looking after people, not maiming them !!!
