Hi, I'm Gypsy. Someone hacked our HD forums & they're a bit of a mess right now. I've gotta get my fix somewhere though. Y'all mind if I play awhile?

I don't have a ride at the moment, I was in a bad wreck 15 months ago & totalled my Sporty. Lost an arm too. I'm waiting for my settlement so I can get a new ride. Hope it's soon! I live in Louisiana & can ride all year long so it's killing me to not have a bike!

Yeah, I got broken. Basically head-on with a local sherriffs deputy...On duty. Broke my left femur, my hips in 4 places, my right shoulder & tore my left arm all to hell...Eventually took it off above the elbow. Also had a brain bleed & nine blood transfusions.  Not one of my better nights! But, hey, I survived it & I'm back on my feet. I miss working though. I was a certified aircraft mechanic & now I need help to do a brake job. How sad is that?

Good to meet all you folks in the land down under!

I miss it. I worked on the big heavies for a year & then went to helicopters. Good work & the pay was pretty good too!

Apparently they hacked the server of hd who carries a bunch of sites & they're all experiencing the same problems. It's been going on for over a month now.
I registered over at Ned's but didn't get confirmation yet so I can't reply to your hello! (Guess I'm in but I'm not IN)

    Hi Gypsy,

Sorry to hear about your accident but you sound like you have recovered well and have a lot of guts. Nothing we love more than a gutsy lady. How about putting a face to the name. Post a pic.

All the best from down under.

Hello again. I'm not sure how to put a picture in my post but you can go to http://www.flickr.com/gypsylady1/ & check out a whole bunch of pics. I've got everything in there from my dog, to my old ride to hospital pics. Some of the pre amputation ones are pretty gruesome, so be warned!
