Folks,

I have a standard 2009 FXDB bob, and would like to source locally, some slightly taller handle bars for the same.  Ideally looking for the same style and shape, but just two inches taller.

Anyone know a good source in Australia for such bars?

I do not want anything that is so long that I have to change cables etc, but need jsut a tad longer than standard.

Just change the risers for a couple of inches taller.

It is not that I want them to be higher actually, I want them that two inches back towards me.  I ride with the bars a long way down, angled towards the rider.  The two inches I am looking for is to make the controls that much closer to me, but not higher.

Took delivery today of the 2 inch risers.  Apart from being slightly damaged, due the tissue paper packaging just giving up leaving the polished items to damage each other across the entire journey, they work and work great.

Spent some time to hand polish them back to a good finish again.

Little dissapointed with the packaging and rather direct blunt, no thanks for the order email, having purchased.  But they are everything they should be.

 

 

As a new user of this forum, i have to say what a great site this is. That riser website link has just fixed a problem that i wasnt sure that i had. if that makes sense.
