I know this stuff has been a pain, the site will be moving to a dedicated server within the next few days which should improve the reliability. When I first set up this site I never thought it would get as big as it is, currently it's set up on a $10/month shared hosting server and because of the load it's suffering.

Very strange, not sure why it should do that, it should always stick to the domain that you started on. Links are exactly the same no matter which domain you use. I suspect you're getting different user lists because you sessions are getting screwed up by the different domains.

& I thought it was just me being a pooterfobic, KC will there be an outage ? when the change over occures ?

Hopefully not I'm going to run two copies of the site, one on the old server and one on the new, both pointing to the same database so no posts get lost. Hopefully all goes smoothly.
