Nearly wore the prick in front yesterday in freeway traffic.  Was watching about three cars in front and this bloke panic stops about 100 mtrs before he has to, we're all doing about 80K.  Closed my eyes and squeezed them levers like they were the biggest tits in the world.  Fucken bike just stopped....left a skid mark on the road like I'd been eating a bad curry, but pulled up straight and true in fuck all time.  Very impressed with this ABS shit. .... bloody white fella magic....  My old bike would have been right up the tailpipe, with me on the bootlid of the prick.....

beagle, are you sure you have ABS? it`s just that  you should not lock up wheels with ABS, so big skid OR  ABS, not both.

My 08 RK has the Brembo brakes but no ABS.

Was travelling out to Dubbo paccked and the cook on the back, sitting on $1:?0 when something come out in front of me.

Wellllll, I hit them front Brembo's and she just locked up, true, straight and perfect. Scared the shit out of me more than anything.

Yeah gotta admit I have ABS and Brembos on the RKC. have had 1 emergency stop and she brake beautifully, dead straight , no lock up or skid, just that stuttering feeling through the pedal. Best thing harley has ever done. testiment to that is the bike I traded in (96 electraglide) was kept by the dealer and given to one of his lads. saw it in the traffic last week. Different colour gaurd on the front. He had hit a toyota ute up the bum.

And according to the DVD that I got...that's normal
