Hi guys, just purchased my first Harley yesterday! Been riding a variety of bikes (including my Dads Heritage Softail when i catch him in a good mood) on and off for years. Earlier in the year I took the wife on a quick country blurt on the back of the old mans bike and asked as she got off... "so honey, what do you think about me buying one...." she didnt need to reply, the grin from ear to ear said it all. So I have been reading this site for months just researching and getting a feel for things. Love the banter, comraderie and educational content! I yesterday bought an imported and complied 06 Vrod with 9000 miles on it in almost perfect condition. Rides like a dream - sounds like a honda tho I am very excited and and cant wait to get it down here (its in Qld I am in Sydney).
