spacers for rim conversion

    hi guy's

    Iam in the process of fitting a 19' rim (cast alloy ) from a low rider to my 94 roadking and  i  need some help finding someone who can make up some spacers up for the rim or does anyone know of a kit you can buy . the difference between the the hub sizes is 65mm . its a twin disc front end . any ideas would be great .

    Local machine shop or mate with a lathe can turn them up piece of piss

    I sought of figured going that way hounddog , found some conversion kits for narrow glide to wideglide but nothing for a RK probably have to start searching for a good machine shop.

    Mate talk to Walka at VPW also. He knows everything!! I seem to remember he had some spacers kits

    getting spacers made up this week by an engineer shop will put up pics when finished.

    So they are in Coffs and your bike is up on Sunny coast? Who is doing the measuring for the spacers?

    The point was it is usually better to have the bike on hand when making the spacers to ensure correct lining up, particularly with the discs/calipers. Incorrect lining up can see the calipers binding and possibly chewing the wheel bearings.

    hi,  not a very good idea to fit-up as the wheel bearings  will be inboard  to the forks on a 3/4" axle  , putting a skinny wheel into a wide fork as it's just not the disc that don't mate up, asp with a  ( heavy bike  like a roadking ), plus it's too hard to get into the wheel bearings to grease on servicing,            no wideglide hub aval  the overall $ would not be too great

    just mick @ A1, he will tell you the truth as a good idea or not
