bump..this ones close now.. it will be a slow ride down on the weekend, but its always been good for a look.
I am going to ride down from Burleigh Heads on Sunday the 12th after meeting some guys at Quest Coffee on James Street around 10:30 or 11 check out some cars and grab a bite to eat and a goldie at the Pub if anyones interested.
Might catch up on one of the days Deadwood....looks like a good gig over the period of time.....
Nice catchin up today too....good ride....good day...good company...bike goes faster now cos it's a tad lighter.
Anyone got a spare battery cover for an 04 sporty????
Yeah, nice to meet you to Mr. Boot. Perfect day for a ride, even if it was only a short run. That battery cover was like a ninja star and it was headed straight at KB's head, but he shoe'd it away like it was a bit of newspaper. Well the plan at this stage is to ride down on Saturday morning, hang around and drool over the cars that are usually on display, maybe get a bite for lunch then head home. At home get on the piss, head back down in the car to see some live C Diddy if they are on early enough as relo's rolling up to airport at 8am Sunday morning whom I have to collect. If anyone is keen to meet up at the northern end of the Goldy let me know. Might leave around 9.30/10am. Giddy up.
Does that invite extend to Southern Goldie folks? where you meeting? I might come up north and then south if the rain holds off.....
"Sunbury" not lost on me although I'm not old enough I am aware of the great Aussie music festival. I am heading down today as I had to work yesterday unwraping a pile of new bikes.
meeting at Quest, James St Burleigh Heads, again 10:30-11am
HEY GUYS, I've been veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery, veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slack for TOO long, not riding much at all and haven't checked the Forum for ages either.
Just reading some of the many posts I've missed now. You look pretty comfortable on that bike Mad and Happy Anniversary Dave and Patsy.
The Isa photo's bring back a zillion memories Trev, glad you're getting use to it and meeting some great folk.
Dale and I did do the "Cooly Rocks" thing again this year, although this time we were in front of the float in his Mustang, not on it which was just as much fun. Stayed down there for 4 days and loved it - t'was great catching up with Geoff albiet briefly too.
My excuse for not riding so far this year is that it's been either too hot or too wet and now it's too bloody cold (am I a bit 'soft' for a Harley rider????) but I will get back into in in the near future as I miss it and you all HEAPS.
