Mate, get someone to do them for you so they will be set true. Don't know of anyone on sunny coast but I reckon if you pop into your local indy or dealer, they will point you in the right direction. There are a few down here in Brissy that do it.

Hi mate, inless you have the right gear and know how to true a rim dont attempt it. Cant help with a guy in your location, but not a job for the inexperienced.

Ok, I'm not an expert on respoking, but I recently completed respoking two BSA wheels, and they both turned out pretty good.  If your rims are in good nick, and you use the correct set of new spokes, you can't really go wrong.  Take photos of both wheels with a digital camera before you pull them to pieces.  Also, run a straight edge across one side of each of the rims, and measure any offset there may be.  You will need a good spoke spanner, and will need to make up some sort of stand.  I made a pretty cheap one which did the job ok, if you want a pic.

There are some pretty good posting s on other bike forums on respoking.
