as a minimum, you could always nail polish it.

a paint shoppe could dab a bit of base then clear on it and get most of it out depending on how bad it is.

    Cheers

I got the authentic touch up paint (it comes with a bottle of clear as well) and I just put a dob on it and it looked great ! "THEN" I thought I could make it better so I started building it up and THEN I had a lump so THEN I picked out the lump and touched it up again. So what have I learned ?? Touch your paintwork up BEFORE you drink bourbon. P.S. If the chip is down to the metal put a dob of acrylic undercoat on it first, but I've just adopted Scotty's attitude now.

Nothin,if your painting a house! I once painted a Suzuki TS 185 with house paint accidently, then I filled it up with petrol and spilled it on the tank and it all ran off. Ya get that.

I used touchup pen on my last bike, made the scratch stand out like dogs balls.
I did the scratch when I swung my leg over the back as I was about to sit down on the single Lepera seat. The exposed rear mudguard was too close to the steel cap boots that had a bit of grit, right in the wrong place. Always becareful when you throw a leg...!!!!

The cutting polish wont work on the clear once it is on,thats why I picked it out.

I'm starting to care less and thats a relief, all this concern about stone chips and stuff was starting to get me down anyway. The more I play with it (the bike) the worse it gets anyway.
