What's the go with getting a 19" front rim?  Do you have to buy the rim and have it laced using an old hub or did they come out on some models?  Wanna put one on my Fatty for a bit and change a few things around.

What do sporties and dynas run up front?  Can you just bolt one of their rims straight on?

    Cheers boys.

You can either get a 19" rim and lace it to a softail heritage hub or just use the Dyna rim and get new spacers to fit.

I bought a rim and spokes off ebay and then tried to get it to laced to my softail hub...The spokes wouldn't work and when I looked into it I needed special spokes which I couldn't source so I just bought a new 19" wheel that bolted straight in...

Thanks guys. What's it worth to buy a new 19" rim roughly?
Im trying to do it on the cheap so will possibly use a Dyna rim. That'll bolt straight up right? just need new spacers? Yeah?

My rim was around $650.00 delivered...Years ago I made up a wideglide front end for my FXE and had to get spacers made up to space the rotor out as well as axle spacers...

    Cheers...Sparra
