    Hi All,

Im putting on new pipes and have run into troubles. Too many tight corners n grindage have damaged the front rear nut (Muffler to interconnect)

Any one have ideas on a safe method for extraction? Im thinking of plugging the grinder in but thought id check the general consensus first...

I would first try and drill a small hole in the side of the nut. Then drill bigger until the nut breaks away. You could drill from both sides.good luck

Get a file and file it back into shape. Once you get the nut off throw it to the shit and buy a new one.

Cheers all for the valuable advice

As the nut is in pretty bad shape........ The winner is...... No 27 and his MR ANGLE GRINDER... Huzzaaaaa...

Will confirm back once it has turned 3 shades of blue and rolling accross the garage floor.
