hey all,

new to harley's and have a 2005 fuel injected softail deluxe and wanted to change the standard pipes with mufflers that are on it to a set of vance and hines shortshots,

and just want to know if i need to get the bike tuned after i fit them or weather it will be alright just to swap them over,

all noise and little performance, their slip ons with stock header pipes works better than most set of pipes

yeah i spoke to someone at peter stevens today and was told that if im only doing pipes dont need to get it tuned, but when i fit a heavy breather aswell will need a tune cause it will be running to lean,

is this true?

Yeah I'm looking into a Vance and Hines fuelpak atm
