    Lads the CVO is due for a service and stuff, I have been doing oil/filter myself, few questions for you;

    1 - Know of a good shop in Sydney that is a non-dealer servicing shop? e.g. any word on South Coast Customs in Sydney? I am at the airport. Also do you think these type of shops cover all the necessary maintenance for a new harley e.g. mine is due for 8,000klm service?

    2 - Tires, what would/should i pay for a 16" 200mm tire? I always import my parts from states but tires i think might not be worth it. Any recommendation where to do this? MCA Aurburn perhaps??

    3 - Oil, not only can I not stomach taking this HD (I've had a couple now) back to Trivett's again, but I also can't continue using the SYN3 HD Screaming Eagle oil that is recommended for the CVO's... reason being that I am racing and stuff a bit and need to change more often and not only is the HD stuff expensive it only comes in little Quart bottles which drives me mad!

    Thanks 4 help comments.

    I still think Cow @ L A Cycles is the best. he now has a new Dyno Jet 250i.

    But m8 you said you change the oil's, not much else to do other than check & adjustments.

    Cow's top Fuel Harley Top Qualified at Nitro Champs last week 6.58  @ 212mph on a cold track that had had a lot of rain, had front wheel off the ground about the full quarter mile, almost 200MPH half track that's 320KPH Cow built that motor and tuned it no out side help.

    i'm thinking about getting him to put a G2 126" into my dyna would be fun.

    cheers

    Thanks KK, yeah looked that up they are in Hoxton Park, that is a bit far for me to be conveniant.

    Mate - your all over the 1/4 mile action, what tips would you have? When you run do you lower ur tire pressures?
    I can't remember if i've seen you doing proper staging burnouts?

    Brian Connors at Brookvale. Some people I ride with are having their new Fat Bob and V Rod serviced there even though they are within warranty.

    A top bloke and knows HDs inside out. Had a new set of Metzelers fitted there a few weeks back. I noted he had Pirellis in stock too but not in my size (16" 150).

    i just leave tyre pressure as i ride it to track as i only go off idle speed, i don't do burn outs as i don't think it makes any difference with street tyres, but it could blow the cobwebs out & warm oil up give you a few more horses.with the Top Fuel nitro Harleys they don't do big burnouts now eather

    i used to do higher rev launches & get around 1.7 1.6 60ft times now i just go off soft 1.8 1.9.  get your 60ft times down make no mistakes & your et will come down you also have to learn to shift quick. i stuff up missing shifts miss a shift and it will add 1 second to your et.

    cheers

    you should come out race in next years track championship in screamin eagle it's good fun

    i travel almost 40k to go to L A Cycles .
