Sorry , yes 2005  softail standard , has mikoni carby & filter upgrade , 2 into 1 pro pipe exhuast

Running 67 tooth rear cog which took 9% off the engine RPM at 100km/h

Runs sweet , just looking for a little more torque when two up

Do you mean change out barrels & pistons to 95". Going to 96" you would have to change crank for that year

Might pay to look at the Andrews website. Perhaps the 26G gear driven cam would suit.if you were going to 95. If you were going to 96, I'm sure you will need something bigger.

hi, that piston is the same dia as what is in your motor you will have to buy  a  new set set of big bore 3 7/8 " dia for the 88c.i.,

88c.i. is the same size piston as the 96 c.i. stock,   cheers

thanks guys looks like it may not be as easy as i thought
But all is not lost I think we will just bore the new barrels to suit , may as well flow port the heads while where there .

thought we might be able to get out of this one easy , (not the case) so it will be engine out and do it properly just another job for the winter

Any recommendations for an Engine builder more than willing to send it the right people.

Then the Andrews 26g cam will be an ideal cam for you. There are other equivalent brands eg Woods. Worth getting if you've got some spare cash.
