I had exactally the same thing happen to me..had no idea where or how to get at the battery......BUT i must say they have got me home with a flat from Sydney to Liverpool with out a problem and a fast response......Its definatly worth the membership but ur right.....a little worrying when they cant find the battery..

trickle charger is a must, even for new batteries. It keeps them in good nick. I have 2, one for the RK and one for the Fordson Super Dexta 3 cylinder diesel

If your battery went flat in just 2 weeks sitting around,without any load on it except the factory alarm,it is stuffed and will let you down at a most inoportune time.
