    Steve

Try just past the Rock Inne Brookton Hwy, Karragullen. Full of gravel tracks.

Every Saturday/Sunday morning 2 out of every 3 cars/utes travelling up the Hwy has bikes or quads on them.

Takes about 45 mins from Midland going thru Kalamunda

lancelin dunes? can get a bit busy but generally not too bad. We used to go a bit further up - follow the track past the dunes and chuck a left onto soldiers road. Follow that up to the beach.

Have to agree with the Lancelin spot. Taught my kids to ride there because it was too dangerous at places like the pines at Wanneroo and Gnangarra.

The dipstick authorities want to have "designated off-road areas" where everyone is crammed into a couple of hectares and hope for the best but I have seen a few nasty accidents at these local spots due to far to many people riding in such a small area. At least Lancelin is a far larger area and there are quite a few tracks behind and to the north of the sandhills. Just have to watch out for the 4WDs.
