Just curious to know what the ride quality is like between the different models of  Softails...As we know there are quite a few different models in the Softail range and I am interested to hear from people that have ridden a few different bikes....I recently swapped my 1995 FXSTC for a 2008 Fatty for a few k's and the difference was amazing but that may have been more to do with the difference in the year rather than model...

I rode a Harley back in the 70's and a Bonnie,Norton Commando and finally settled on a Kawka 900 mounted in a Rickman Frame all of which I raced.
Since then I have had various brands before I stopped riding for a while.
In the last couple of years I have ridden a 2009 Road King and Heritage and now own a 2011 CVO softy.
So there are more qualified riders than me to comment but compared to my 1968 Harley the new bikes are vastly different in handling and performance from what I remember.
The new CVO is definitely the best softy I have ridden its only drawback so far is the foot-boards they have to go it corners well and the ride is smooth. Performance is great and so it should be
with 110 ci in it. BUT best of all I dont have to have a mate with a ute on my rides to get me home and I dont leave calling cards in the driveway.
