Good stuff Hilly!
I'm thinking that my motor could benefit from one of these...........more oil pressure has gotta be a good thing!
Where did you get yours?.......Locally......or from the States?

Hilly, can you tell me what size pin punch I need to knock out that pin? Gotta buy a new set of pin punches and want to make sure thet I get one small enough for this job.
Thanks Hilly.
Fitted the Baisley spring in yesterday. I took my pipes off as I needed to do some welding on my muffler mount and also it just made it a lot easier to access the cam cover.
Fitting was a piece of cake..........knocked the roll pin out, removed spring and piston.........sanded piston with emery as advised by Baisley, applied a smear of oil on piston then re-installed with new spring.
I just used a 5/32 pin punch to compress the spring, first taking note of how far I needed to push the spring in to clear the roll pin, then tapped the roll pin back in. Checked to make sure that the spring would push away and then re-seat on the pin. All good!
First impressions..................Very noticeable how much quieter the valve train noise is!
I run Woods 6 cams which are known to be a little noisy...........well after fitting this spring, they sound as quiet, or possibly a little quieter than the standard cams were!.................Very happy with the results and knowing that the extra oil pressure is there is very comforting!
Today I did the full synthetic oil change over from "dino" oil(went from HD360 to Amsoil)..............and I believe that the motor is even quieter again!!
More miles will hopefully confirm this.
Thanks Hilly for putting me onto this "cheap" but well worthwhile upgrade.
