Now that I have seen the Orange and Black, Green and Black and Black Street Glide need to decide what colour, anyone got a second opinion?

I am leaning towards the Green and Black but not sure at this stage.

I originally ordered the Krypto but with the paint issue delays I was bumped to the Orange / Black - I feel the dealer did me a favour after I saw my first Krypto in the flesh a few weeks ago. Don't get me wrong it looks great but am glad I got my Orange.

    Good luck with your purchase.

A fellow owner in the US faced the same dilemma, so he bought 2 of them - he ultimately sold the Krypto.

His pics to help you decide.

Both are great but the orange gets my vote.

I'm not to keen on the 2 tones colurs, I would do the straight black add some chrome & then some old school pinstripping to lift the black. Thats my thoughts.

    Have a good one

Well, its been a brain stacking decision,

*I like the Green and having the black engine, first for CVO so,
Go Krypto and put a chrome kit on the engine removing all the black covers and replace wheels with chrome set.

*I absolutely like the chrome, traditional CVO.
Go Inferno and change centre console to chrome like Krypto.

    What do you think?

The bottom half of the green one looks great, and the top half of the orange one. See if you can get one like that....

    Well Steamer

That wouldn't work either as she knows that there is a lot of things on mine that will not go on the new ones. So I just keep what I have and just add to it & maybe 1 day up grade the motor who knows these bikes are to last a life time & more.

Mate, that is brilliant!! So you're saying, no major issues? How often do you service her? What's the secret? Questions, questions, questions....

    Well Rob

I service her when I remember to I change the oil appprox. every 5,000 to 10,000k's & the transmission & primary every 10,000ks

running reusable filters for oil & air

spark plugs were done approx back at 76,000ks so may be due

Tyres at 20,000 plus k's front & rear

Replace the batteryback in Sept. 2010

Ride her everday rain or shine

The only major problem I had was when it use to go to Fraser sinced I stopped going there no probs.

Also the wire harness that runs to the rear lights I have rubber then out twice now, so I had to make a new one & re ran so no more problems there from now on.

We being an every day ride it was getting to much to pay some one to keep doing what they were doing, so I now I will drop it a service centre onec a year or 18mths & i will do the rest.

hope this helps but then this may work for me but not everyone. I thinks these bikes are made to run & keep running no matter what you do to them or how you treat them.

I hope to one play with the sert on it I have the disk & cables but not the know how, maybe when I'm off on Holidays & I have time.

    Well all done and dusted.

Put a deposit on CVO Street Glide about 2 1/2 months ago, bike turns up, you beauty.

Will be ready to collect first week in August but when bike gets unboxed BAM.

    Wrong colour turns up.

Wrong colour was recorded in VIN records so factory error.  To bad hey!
