I have a claim no from him .........................couple of questions.......2007 Supreglide....

1....... Can I fix my bike myself     (500 klms to dealers)

2........Get new parts     (I dont want a bogged and then painted  front guard)

I have phoned Peter Stevens and 8 weeks wait for a new front guard      (no way I am not going to be without my bike for 8 weeks)

i'd run over his/her partner and see how they liked it!
    1. I believe not, unless your licensed
    2. yes, you should be able to source new parts.
is the bike rideable? you can still ride the SG while waiting for the parts.
    that'd be my option

Thanks...... must be one of those bell things.....the misses got me one for xmas...they must work???......I would ride the bike with a new tyre fitted the old one has a cut across it from the tow bar ball thread .....after I pulled the guard out from the tyre I road it home ...was  just around the corner from the cafe.......wingut.

I'd be getting the insurance claim to pay for towing to and from the dealer and seeing if you can get a loan bike from the dealer. I'd rather it come back as close to new as possible from the dealer than having to chase parts myself.
