Seat and nuetral switch.

    I have two questions.

    1. With the 2008 King and queen seat (stock) I have sheared one of the studs that hold the seat to the sissy bar.  Is this a new seat replacement or can this be repaired by an auto upholsterer?  (My own dumb fault for not using a tourque wrench)

    2.  My neutral switch is intermitant... is this a clean up job as it works sometimes or also a replacement.  any one done this, easy or hard to get at fix?

    Thanks

I've heard of the neutral switch failing before so a replacement should fix it, My opinion. As for the seat I'm sure it can be repaired.

check that the clip to the switch is nice and snug.

i had same problem was just a matter of squeezing the clip on a little bit tighter....was moving slightly causing neutrel switch to flicker on and off

I fixed the bolt with a bit of stuffing around and a suitable tap.

Replace the neutral swith. The part is not that dear. Put a clear silicon over all of the LEDS where they join the circuit board...... this is where they rust and cause the dramas. I have also been there.
