As Julie is getting pissed off that I am putting to many K's on her Nightster, and a new Fatbob is over 7 months away, I decided to buy myself a 105th Anniversery Dyna Superglide Custom today from Peter Stevens in Adelaide Ordered her with 7" T Bars, Forward controlls and S&S Tapered Turbo mufflers. That should do me untill she is run-in then I'll get the breathing and fueling sorted out.

Pick her up next week, can't wait.

Anything you experienced Dyna owners can fill me in on?

Hogman, no ride but decided to buy a Buell 1125r to ride whle I'm waiting for the Fat Bob. Every garage should have a Buell and a Dyna.

Pick it up Monday

Ditch the standard tyres and fit some Metzelers or grippier tyre of your choice, chuck the front pads and fit some decent pads and put a floating disc on the front.

Go to you favourite riding area and you'll ride rings around every softail and bagger that you see. Then you'll see why Dynas have such a large following.

I had the same choice as you mate. But I sold the wide glide and waited for 8 months for the Fatbob. It is the best Harley I've ridden in 20 years. ( and I've rode em all.) 140 and 180 front and back, twin discs mate ya shoulda waited and put a few more miles on the wifes bike. However, still got yaself a top bike there bloke.

7months !!!!!!!!!! the 2010's will nearly be out...lol...
