You don't have to remove the tank to install bling caps, under the front of the tank on the left side there is a black plastic flap. You open that and pull out the connection plug, remove the pins inside the connector then pull the wiring up through the pipe in the tank to remove the original fuel cap. Then install the new cap in reverse.
Shouldn't take more than a half hour, hardest part is removing the pins from the connector if you don't know how they come out.
Simply put a long needle inside the back of the connector raise the plastic clip then pull out the pin, just remember the colours and where they go.
