Well i just got home with an extra slip of blue paper in my pocket, saying i owe the man $577
Pulled out from a side street onto a main suburban southern road behind some limp wristed riders following a patrol car doing 5k/ph or so under the limit. looks like they were trying to hide hoping he would go away. I rolled past them, around a roundabout(so they know who they are) and then the patrol car on a down hill decent sitting right on the speed limit. reaching the bottom of the hill i see his lights and pull over. Not being to impressed as i was doing nothing wrong i asked what i was pulled for. The answer was you number plate is not a genuine transport sa item and got handed a $577 fine to prove it, no warning, nothing. Not sure if it was the number plate that got me pulled over or what was on my vest! Either way the dog must be pleased with himself, as while i was on the side of the road atleast 5 cars went past blowing smoke or smashed lights or no exhaust. Go figure!!!!!!
And i know what some people will say, the limp wristed didnt get fines. Hahahahah
Well id rather get a fine than live being too scared to ride within my rights.
Now this is the bit that really pisses me off. Its only a $175 fine for no number plate at all, so if you have a non transport sa plate guys just take it off and ride with no number plate at all, its cheaper. Wonder who figured those fines out?
Well done officer you just saved multiple people from looking at a number plate not approved by the government. You deserve a promotion.
The South Australian Police Force really are becoming quite petty arent they?
They need to stop acting like a bunch of old moles and start actually doing what ever the fuck is in their job description and cut back on the blatant revenue raising.
