My mate is looking for a tuner and i want to recommend the TTS as i have used it for mine with closed loop. my question is, is there much of a diifference to tuning in open loop, can you still use data master and blend with  vtunes ect - is anyone got 06 motor without oxy sensors and has tuned using tts?

open loop you will have to get it dyno tuned if there isn't a matching MT6 file.
To use datamaster V-Tune you need to have the O2 sensors installed. Its easy enough to do

So what your saying if there is a matching mt6 file, no need to tune,  - what would he need to do to install oxy sensors to it??

    Hi Midnight,

I just installed the O2 sensors on my 06 Night Train and it was really simple. Once you get the parts for the sensor install it all makes sense, hardest part of the whole thing was trying to find the wire for it but auto one had something that did the job, also just found out dick smiths has small diameter wire too. I broke one of the plugs I had so I got rid of the plug altogether and just soldered the wires together instead..

Also just be aware of the the ecm plug when you plug it back into the ecm as there is a clip ONLY ON ONE SIDE and mine vibrated out the socket enough to lose a proper connection, not enough to be visible but enough to cause me a huge headache trying to find out why it started running like a pig all of a sudden!!

Thanks al for you help, I am passing on the info as i type - so it would seem form reading it would be a relatively easy task?

how much are the oxy sensors and what type will he need to get?

-- the exhaust already comes with bungs too, yes a bonus that my mate will be happy with
