Hey Guys, any comments / advice on bike cameras? Just riding thru the Snowy Mountains recently I really wanted film just how damn good it was. I know there are a bunch of different mounted cams, and not sure which ones to go for. Also, was wondering how effective a good hand held video cam would be with pillion doing the filming? To shaky? Advice appreciated guys
Cheers

GoPro® HD HERO, thats it right there there isn't a better camera out there, trust me I know, as I have one,
I took this a few weeks back with the Go Pro, it is behind the Softail screen, otherwise the picture is high definition.

+3 with the GoPro, the case prevents wind noise so allyou hear is your bike engine. Options for standard def, high def & time lapse.
how many $ for the go pro
$260-270 if you buy direct from USA on Ebay or $349 buy in Oz

I think there are two contenders; though I'm going with the Gopro. The ContourHD1080p looks better imo, but it doesn't have the same resolution. A comparision can be found:

Get the Go Pro as you can set it to take stills etc as well, catch some shots on the go you can also get a camera mount to attach it to a tripod or something like that Contour has worse sound I believe, battery life on the Go Pro is awesome,
