Hi all. i am looking to change my rear suspension to an air adjustable system on my 2011 fatboy lo. any thoughts on what would be the best system. im a light 110kg and am happy with the ride of my bike with the standard suspension, but i want it lower. ive searched for a few systems from manufacturers like legend, progressive, Hi-lo rider and custom cycle controls but would like some feedback on what to spend my hard earned money on. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If your happy with the suspension why don't you just get an adjustable lowering kit. I reckon it would be heaps cheaper at around $200 installed.

I run a platimun bleed & feed, very happy with the system. The best system out there at the moment is the Shotgun air ride.  It's similar to my platinumn air ride, but it's a fully seal one peace unit so you've never have a air leak problem.

Shotguns on my Night Train. Had em for bit over 12 months now. Never had an issue with them. Very reliable and do a great job of lowering your ride height and cushioning also

im leaning towards the shotgun shocks even though there a bit pricey($1550 USD). a lot of good feedback on them on all the forums. has anyone installed these themselves and if yes how easy was it. i noticed on shotguns website you got to drill and tap holes which im not to keen on doing. also anyone know of any distributors for them in Aus or the U.S. ive looked and only found shotguns website to be selling them.

here some info for someone looking to purchase shotgun shocks for softails with a.b.s. just received a reply email from J.D at shotgun shocks and unfortunately they wont fit because the a.b.s module is in the place where the compressor should go.  lucky i checked, as i was only a click away from buying them. disappointed.
